Made the puris today. This is how you eat Puri Bahji, kinda like an Indian Taco…

Simple Indian supper: Kitchri (rice & lentils) and Onion Bahjas

Make thick batter with chickpea flour, water salt & pepper. Add chopped/sliced onion, green chilis, fresh coriander and fry till light golden brown

Kitchri: cook together 1 cup rice & 1/2 cup red lentils, salt & turmeric. . In a large pan or pot, fry whole cumin seed and chopped garlic for 20-30 seconds. When rice & lentils are ready, gently mix with cumin & garlic
